Link Your Light — effective August 24, 2026

Link Your Light is built so your lights remain your business. Here is, plainly, what the app collects, what it doesn't, and what you can demand.

Without an account, nothing leaves your home

The app works entirely on your local network. Commands travel from your iPhone to your modules, directly. No data reaches our servers until you create an account.

With an account, here is what we keep

Your email and name — to sign you in. Your password is hashed; nobody can read it, not even us.
Your profile — your scenes, patterns and automations, so they follow you between devices.
Your linked modules — their identifier, the name you give them and their last reported state (on, brightness, colour), so you can drive them remotely.

That's all. No browsing history, no profiling, no third-party analytics, no ads, and never any sale or sharing of data with anyone.

Your location is never sent to us

If you use sunrise or sunset automations, the app reads your phone's location to hand it to your modules, over your local network — they compute the sun times themselves. It is never sent to our servers.

Where the data lives

On our servers located in Canada (Québec), encrypted in transit. Hockey game tracking runs on those same servers, with no link to your identity.

Your rights

Under Québec's Law 25 and PIPEDA, you may access, correct or have your information deleted. Deleting your account erases your profile, your linked modules and everything attached to them. Write to us and it's done, no questions asked.
